Early College Worcester Mobile App Privacy Policy

The Early College Worcester Mobile App is a resource for the Early College Worcester community. It does not require a log-in and does not collect personal information as such. Its primary use is as a resource – finding buildings, using a calendar for academic events, receiving push notifications, and having important resources available in one place.

The Early College Worcester Mobile App collects Cookie and Usage Data. This data is used so Early College Worcester leadership know what sections are most popular and how often push notifications are being read.

There is the ability for users to contact program representatives through the Early College Worcester Mobile App, but there is no ability to communicate with other community members. Social interaction is not the purpose of this app.

The Map widget connects you to Google Maps, which will ask permission to know your location. To use the navigation feature, you must grant permission.

Push notifications will be used to remind users of deadlines, events, and other program related notifications.

System Logs and Maintenance
For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System Logs) or use for this purpose other Personal Data (such as IP Address). The review and retention of activity data will be kept for only as long as is necessary to learn about the utility of the app.

Account Deletion & Clean-up

The Early College Worcester Mobile Application does not collect personal data or personal use history. Users of the mobile app do not have an account and as such there is no personal data to clean-up or request for clean-up. Users may delete the app from their device at any time and know that there is no need to request account clean-up.
